Where does the name "Loads of Lifestyle" come from?
Mel had been wanting to start a blog since the start of 2014, but she was really struggling coming up with a name for her blog. She didn't want to dedicate her blog solely to one specific genre, but she knew she wanted it to be a "Lifestyle Blog" combining her love for Travel, Beauty, Food and DIY. So she went to the drawing board to come up with a name.. It took a good couple of months but she decided on:
"Loads of Lifestyle"
It's kind of boring and blatantly obvious but still means something to her. The "Loads" part of the name comes from the first half of her surname (Loadsman) and then she added the "of Lifestyle".
What type of camera do you use?
At the moment I will be using mostly my iPhone 6s, and my Canon 100D DSLR camera with a 40mm lens and 18-55mm lens
How long have you been a Make-Up Artist?
She has been working in the Make-Up industry on & off for the last 6 years. She specialises in weddings and formals(proms) and she attended a course at a beauty college in 2010.
Where have you travelled to?
She took my first overseas journey in 2005 to Japan with her high-school and since then it has been an ongoing love affair! She tries to travel as much as she can, but she would rather save for a year for a really BIG trip once every couple of years then do small trips every year. She has been all over Europe, Kenya & Mauritius, Japan, Fiji & Vanuatu.
